The center of this town is at the very bottom of a very steep mountainside and the line of restaurants along the oceans edge make for a beautiful setting.
AMALFI - The town of Amalfi is located at the foot of Monte Cerreto, surrounded by steep cliffs and spectacular coastline. It’s designated as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Main sites include the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, the Campanile (the bell tower), the Piazza Duomo, Cloister of Paradise (an open-air museum featuring Roman and medieval pillars). The town of Amalfi is worth the visit because of its spectacular geographical location and beautiful Cathedral (The Cathedral of Sant’Andrea dates back to the 11th century, The facade of the cathedral features a stunning Byzantine style), and the town’s importance in history.
RAVELLO - This magical romantic quiet gem of the Amalfi coast is tucked 1.000 feet up into in to the Cliffside, with some of the most stunning views in the world. . This town has roots dating back to the 5th century and it remains a timeless place, perched high on a hilltop overlooking the Amalfi Coast. A medieval village filled with winding cobblestoned streets, fragrant gardens, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
